How Does the MaxLight Solar Skylight Work?
There are 2 models available – the 15W Standard and the 30W Day & Night model.
MaxLight Solar Skylight 15W Standard
The 15W MaxLight Solar Skylight consists of a roof mounted high performance 15W solar panel with a choice of a 300mm round or square LED light fixture for the ceiling.
- 1. High quality 15W solar panel that can be easily mounted on all types of roofs, is used to capture the sunlight.
- 2. The solar panel converts the sunlight into electricity, this clean and free electricity is used to power the 15W LED light.
- 3. A 10m cable is supplied to connect the solar panel and the LED light.
- 4. An attractive light fixture is supplied to be fixed on the ceiling with an option of round or square light fixture to select.
- The MaxLight Solar Skylight 15W Standard comes with a 10-year warranty on the panel and 3-year warranty for the LED.
- 1. High quality 30W solar panel that can be easily mounted on all type of roofs, is used to capture the sunlight. The solar panel converts the sunlight into electricity, this clean and free electricity is used to power the 15W LED light.
- 2. The surplus electricity produced is stored in a rechargeable lithium 6.4ah battery integrated onto the rear of the panel.
- 3. When the solar panel is not producing electricity (during night-time or overcast days), the battery will discharge the stored electricity to power the LED light.
- 4 A 10m cable is supplied to connect the solar panel and the LED light.
- 5. An attractive light fixture is supplied to be fixed on the ceiling with an option of round or square light fixture to select.
- 6. An intelligent sensor is supplied to detect movement inside the room and turn on the light when required. This will preserve the energy stored inside the battery.
- The MaxLight Solar Skylight 30W Day & Night model is backed with a 10-year warranty for the solar panel and a 3-year warranty for the battery and LED.
