Skylight Installation

Affordable Skylights team of professional skylight Installers have been trained to make your life as simple as possible. Our installers have been trained & qualified by SolarBright to install a single skylight in 2 hours or less, as installation requires no painting, no wiring* or any structural changes. We also understand the importance of looking after your home and we ensure that any mess that may be made when positioning your skylight, is cleaned up before we leave. So you will only know we have been, because of the gorgeous daylight produced by your new skylight!

*Wiring may be required if you have purchased the optional Electric Light Add On kit. Any electrical work will need to be carried out by a qualified electrician, and depending on situation, may need to be organized separately. If you are in any doubt as to what may be required please don’t hesitate to contact us for further information.

If you are a handy do-it-yourself homeowner, you can easily install your SolarBright Skylight yourself. It may take little longer than the 2 hours it takes our professionals, but installation requires only basic DIY skills including using basic DIY tools.

Step-By-Step Instructions

To help you step-by-step illustrated instructions are provided with each skylight kit. In fact every tubular skylight kit comes with all the hardware you will need. Angled adapters (elbows) are also supplied with each standard kit. Angle adapters allow the direction of the light pipe to change up to 30 degrees. You can even purchase our special 90 degrees tubes if you think you may need this for your installation. However SolarBright® recommends straight runs whenever possible to achieve the highest light output possible.

Before deciding to undertake the skylight installation yourself, we strongly recommend you read the instructions online first.
